Saav
Saavan (pronounced “sarv-an”) or “saav” for short, professional close-up magician of british-asian background based in London, who performs at many types of events all over the UK. After completing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Saavan has been performing magic as a full-time career ever since, combining cutting-edge magic with boyish charm to dazzle his audiences at many different events, including weddings, birthdays, and much more.
The beginnings of Saavan’s magic career can be traced back to 2006, whilst Saavan was still at primary school and had witnessed a young Dynamo performing on his very first television show. At the age of 12 he was given a magic set at Christmas by his family, encouraging him to pursue the art further where he would use his newfound skills to entertain relatives at family occasions and also his classmates and teachers in the high school playground. Eventually becoming a member of the prestigious Magic Circle at the age of 19 (And youngest member at the time!), Saavan’s unique style of magic had qualified him for The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the year Competition for two years in a row, in which access was only given to eight magicians throughout the entire country.
After recently graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Saavan has been able to combine his artistic skills alongside his sleight of hand abilities to create a unique style of magic for a modern-day audience. Having currently studied the art of magic for over 11 years, Saavan has polished his magic to be tailored to any and all environments, from weddings and birthdays, to noisy environments such as nightclubs and music festivals.
Over his performing years, Saavan has refined his style of magic, combining boyish charm with cutting edge magic to deliver a truly distinctive and jaw-dropping experience. As a natural performer that blends into any party, his magic utilizes not only playing cards, but any object that he may happen to find around him at any time, such as glass bottles, mobile phones and maybe even your wallet! (Although whether you get it back or not is a totally different story…) Incorporating skills that he learned during his time as a design student, Saavan’s repertoire of magic can be customized around any kind of special occasion (or even person), allowing his performance to be tailored to your specific needs.
